« Truck Needed: We have a ‘92 Ford F250, but it just isn’t doing the job any longer... We are very pleased to have the new Mobile Dental Office that Mexican Medical Ministries has provided for us. It currently has one dental chair installed, with the second to be installed soon. However, we have found that our old Ford truck does not do a good job pulling this trailer — in fact we almost could not get up one hill here in Mexico — we were going less than 0 mph and almost stalled. So we’ve done some research and found the best truck for our needs would be a “1 Ton Heavy Duty Truck, with a towing package.” (Please contact us for additional specifications.) Please pray with us that a truck that can pull 10,000 lbs. can be found at a very reasonable price (with financial donations to match), or possibly that such a truck could even be donated... |

« Bible Correspondence School: We would like to increase our offerings from this one course ‘What the Bible Teaches’ to a myriad of Bible courses, but that would take $1,000—$2,000 to set up the program and have a very basic supply of materials on hand... |

« Starting an ‘English’ Church in Loreto? We have many Americans and Canadians living in Loreto (maybe 500) and most do not speak Spanish. One church here provides translation into English and that’s a help, but most would love to have something in ‘English’. But, I certainly could not Pastor an ‘English Church’ along with my other responsibilities. However, we started in January, Bible Studies in English in our ministry center, with other community and evangelistic activities for the English speakers planned for later this year. Please pray for us in this new endeavor, and that others will come to Loreto that have this ministry need on their hearts… |

« National Support Needed: Many Mexican national Christians would love to help us on our Teams… Due to the global economic conditions, the drug wars in northern Mexico, and the unfortunate bad publicity the press has given Mexico, we have had fewer people join our Teams here in Loreto this past year. However on the bright side, we’ve had more Mexican nationals wanting to participate with us — but many of them cannot afford to do so. A one-time gift of $255 would completely cover the costs for one national Christian to participate on one of our Weekender Teams. Others are giving $30 per month as a regular means of supporting this need. Related is the growing costs for putting on our evangelistic Health Fairs. Each month we are in a different location usually in Loreto, or within 3 hours of Loreto, between Santa Rosalía and Constitución. On average the cost to put on these Health Fairs is about $1,000 per month — so if you are able to help us by contributing any amount towards this cost, we also would be very grateful! |

« Ministry Center: We have been using our Ministry Center even though it’s not entirely finished as yet... We hope to soon put a roof on, and then put the outdoor kitchen into service. Then a little later we will put the finish floor down… But all of this work will depend on us having the needed funds on hand to do so… Another related need for the Ministry Center is for a small sound system ...
